Each and cancer is malignant in its own way, with its own mechanisms and its own etiology. And yet - studies persistently identify diminished cancer rates in conditions that inhibit mTORC1. Using LFS as a case in point, we seek to understand how mTORC1 inhibition prevents cancers that are caused by mutant p53  ​​
